This unused Paraguay stamp is Raphael's ceiling fresco Adam and Eve. This painting was on the ceiling in the Stanza Della Segnatura room of the Papal palace in the Vatican. This room was one of a suite of four rooms originally intended as a suite of apartments for Pope Julius II.
